About Us

Ray Development Organization (RD) is a nationally registered non-governmental organization established by a team of seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in humanitarian and development work across diverse regions and states. Our founders bring years of experience from working with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and United Nations (UN) agencies, embodying a shared commitment to driving impactful change. RD was born out of the urgent need to address humanitarian crises in the aftermath of Cyclone Mocha. Recognizing the gaps in emergency response and relief efforts, we came together to form an organization dedicated to supporting affected communities with resilience and empathy. Leveraging our collective knowledge and experience, we strive to:

Deliver effective and timely emergency assistance to vulnerable populations.
Enhance the well-being of communities during times of crisis through sustainable and impactful interventions.

Mission

Our mission is to support and empower communities across Myanmar through: • Providing immediate emergency response and recovery support during crises. • Implementing programs in: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH),Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI), Food Security (including in-kind food, nutritional support and Cash Assistance) • Laying the foundation for future development projects that enhance livelihoods and community resilience.
